Creating a Brighter Future
At the Domestic Violence Prevention Network (DVPN), we lead our community in cultural change toward ending domestic violence, once and for all. Our work is heavily focused on education and prevention. By informing our community about the root causes and impact of domestic violence, we aim to change societal norms and behaviors that perpetuate violence.
Equity is invaluable to us. While we acknowledge that domestic violence transcends demographics and impacts individuals from all walks of life, our approach is intersectional. We address the diverse and complicated factors contributing to domestic violence while emphasizing protective measures and healthy relationship dynamics.
Every day, we work to strengthen how our community prevents domestic violence. We bring organizations together, support advocates, and provide prevention education, so our systems work better and violence is less likely to happen in the first place. We do this by engaging with the public to deliver resources, facilitating training sessions for youth and adult audiences in various sectors, and collaborating with local leaders and influencers.
Advocacy, education, and collaboration are at the core of our values.

Supporting Survivors
Our work is focused on education with the idea that informing our community on issues related directly and indirectly to domestic and other types of violence will change the culture that leads to that violence. DVPN does not provide direct service to victims/survivors, but these organizations do. Our work is heavily based on prevention so our direct service providers can focus on serving those impacted by this human issue.
Change Starts Here.
Your generous donations support our mission and make a lasting impact in the lives of domestic violence survivors.
